Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay were spotted outside Ekta Kapoor’s home after Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 has been grabbing eyeballs with show’s announcement.
Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay‘s iconic superhit show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has run successfully for years. The two managed to set the screens on fire with their camaraderie and fans were in love with their performances. Tulsi and Mihir are now all set to play their roles in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. As per reports, Amar and Smriti have already started shooting for the cult classic serial. A video has been going viral on social media, wherein Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay were seen entering the residence of Ekta Kapoor.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is an integral part of everyone’s childhood. As per reports, the original cast including Smriti, Amar, Mouni Roy and Karishma Tanna would be part of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. Karishma and Mouni reportedly will be making cameo appearances.
Smriti and Amar were seen entering Ekta Kapoor’s residence on June 8, 2025. Amar looked handsome in a white shirt with beige-hued jeans while Smriti looked beautiful in a black salwar kameez with a red dupatta and specs. Amar posed for the paparazzi, while Smriti went inside Ekta’s office she turned and then smiled at the camera.
The video has been going viral on social media and fans are going gaga seeing Mihir and Tulsi together after decades. Fans filled the comments section with messages. One user wrote, “Fantastic and nostalgic to see old star cast in main leads of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 1.” Another said, “Amar looks hot and so young.” “Congratulations!” said the third user.
As per a report by News18, the new season of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 will be a short series that will have 150 episodes.

Reportedly, the production house of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 has taken phones of the star cast, which also includes Smriti Irani, Amar Upadhyay, and Ekta Kapoor which are under observation. Smriti is expected to have Z plus security during the shoot. Mouni Roy and Karishma Tanna will be shooting a promo for the new season. Reportedly, Ekta Kapoor and her team will make an official announcement related to Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 in June 2025.
