Urvashi REACTS to claims of blocking a staircase at Cannes Film Festival, says ‘My team secured…’
After turning heads at the 78th Cannes Film Festival, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela recently addressed the controversy where she was allegedly asked by the authorities to leave after blocking a staircase at Cannes. Read on to know what she said.
After stunning everyone at the Cannes Film Festival, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela, once again made the headlines. But this time, it’s a little different.
While some fans adored Urvashi’s unique approach to fashion in her red parrot bag and torn dress, an account by the name Diet Sabya claimed that the actress was blocking the staircase at Cannes and was removed shortly afterwards.
Reacting to this Urvashi Rautela took to her Instagram and penned down a post addressing this rumour and called the claims to be ‘Cowardly Lies’.In her post on Instagram, Urvashi Rautela wrote, “To my global fans & supporters, the Cannes Festival community, and champions of truth, I rise with unyielding strength against the cowardly lies of Diet Sabya, a faceless page that dares to falsely claim I blocked a staircase. Let the truth reign: my team secured full permission for a photoshoot on a designated staircase, as did others, in strict adherence to every rule of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, which I honor with unwavering respect. Their baseless narratives target those, like me, who elevate India’s pride on the global stage. I have blocked and reported this irrelevant entity, and I call on all to dismiss their envious slander.”

After all this unfolded, the fashion watchdog took to their social media page and shared screenshots of Urvashi’s messages. Mocking Urvashi the page wrote, I won’t survive,” and “Oh no, what will I do now, she is coming after meeeee”
