Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have been witnessing high-voltage drama in their upcoming episodes. The current storyline revolves around Armaan and Abhira who got separated post-leap. Armaan stays with his daughter Pookie aka Maira and Abhira stays with Vidya and Kaveri. Abhira runs a saree business along with being a lawyer.
In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira feels guilty and blames herself that due to her Armaan also lost his daughter. Armaan has hidden Maira and Abhira’s true connection from them. Armaan feels that Abhira does not care about the child and says that she does not deserve to stay with her anymore. Meanwhile, Geetanjali is Maira’s nanny and takes care of Armaan’s daughter in his absence.
Geetanjali hugs Maira and says that they will meet the next day before leaving with Dada. Armaan later questions Pookie as she calls Geetanjali by her name. Maira asks Armaan if she should start calling Geetanjali as ‘mumma’. Armaan goes into the past and remembers how he got his Pookie back. He puts Maira to sleep. On the other hand, Abhira writes a heartfelt letter to Pookie. Vidya notices Abhira and tells her to rest. Abhria says that she hopes to reunite with her daughter. Armaan feels a sense of failure and feels he has fallen short of the promises he made to Maira.
Armaan is the same obsessed father for Maira even after 7 years and gets into a physical fight with the shopkeeper who decides to sell his daughter’s teddy to someone for money. Armaan becomes rude and egoistic person who cannot see anything other than his daughter. What will happen next? Will Armaan marry Geetanjali for his daughter Maira?
