There have been multiple controversies that have left many shocked in the television industry. We have seen many actors and actresses open up on issues they face on the sets of TV shows. People have faced harassment, molestation and other big issues while filming their episodes. One such incident had happened years back that involved a popular TV actor and a producer. They were reportedly dating but had never revealed it to anyone. But the actor had later accused the producer of molestation and it turned into an ugly battle.
We are talking about Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 actor Parth Samthaan and popular producer Vikas Gupta. Parth was working on Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Vikas Gupta was roped in as the producer of the show. Both have worked together in many shows like Gumraah, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Kaisi Ye Yaariaan. According to reports, both were also dating. However, in 2013, Parth accused Vikas of molesting him.
Parth and Vikas Gupta’s controversy
Parth had sent a legal notice to Vikas Gupta over molestation charges, non-payment of dues and for threatening to ruin his career. Parth also lodged a complaint at the Versova Police Station and recorded a statement that said, “Vikas hasn’t cleared my dues of Rs 5,50,000 for Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, a show that I did with him. In fact, he has been asking me to cough up a ransom of Rs 50,00,000. He has also threatened to ruin my career. I have also informed the cops about the same. I have nothing against him except for the fact that he hasn’t cleared my dues. We were good friends. He has also helped me in my career and I will be always thankful to him. But my hard work can’t be discounted.”
But, their common friend Ekta Kapoor revealed a different angle to this story. She supported Vikas and said that Parth was lying. She revealed that Parth and Vikas were in a relationship and even went for a holiday after Parth accused Vikas of touching him inappropriately.
“Vikas and Parth were close to each other and were in a relationship. Parth has accused Vikas of touching him inappropriately on December 7, 2013 and 20 days later, he was with Vikas holidaying in Bangkok! I know because I was also there to bring in the New Year. I have seen several videos of him professing his love for Vikas,” she had told DNA.
This was a huge controversy and even today, they do not talk to each other. However, Parth has worked with Ekta Kapoor in Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2.
