Rashmika Mandanna is currently riding high on the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The movie featured her as Srivalli. Such was the impact of Allu Arjun-starrer that it emerged as the highest grossing Indian films. Now, she is looking forward to the release of her much-anticipated movie Chaava that stars Vicky Kaushal as the protagonist. Despite a severe leg injury, Rashmika has been promoting the film. She suffered a leg injury a few days back but that did not stop her from fulfilling her professional commitments. She graced the movie’s promotional events with grace. A few pictures on internet went viral showing Rashmika Mandanna laying on a hospital bed. She has a few bandages around her face. As reported by India Today, the image has been edited and the original picture is that of English Television and radio presenter Nicki Chapman. Rashmika’s face was attached to Chapman’s face in the viral image. The original image during the search turns out to be from The Daily Mail that has Nicki Chapman talking about brain tumour ordeal. In the viral photo, fans can also see Vijay Devananda, Mahesh Babu and others. Back in January, Rashmika had penned a lengthy note talking about her leg injury. She shared a picture that showed her leg plastered. She wrote, “Injured myself in my sacred gym shrine. Now I’m in “hop mode” for the next few weeks or months or god only knows, so seems like I’ll be hopping my way back to sets for Thama, Sikandar, and Kubera!”

Chaava will hit theatres on February 14. It narrates the story of Maratha king Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
