Aamir Khan’s new love interest is Gauri, she has no Bollywood ties; here’s what we know

Aamir Khan is in love, again. According to reports, the 59-year-old actor is in a new relationship with a woman who hails from Bengaluru. As reported by Pinkvilla, Aamir had his family meet her which signals the seriousness of their bond, and the meeting was well-received. Pinkvilla further reported the mystery woman’s name as Gauri, and that she has no ties to Bollywood. Aamir Khan has reportedly made a deliberate decision to keep his new relationship under wraps and is yet to make any official statements. Superstar Aamir Khan was earlier married to film producer Reena Dutta, and together they have two children, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan. The couple got married in 1986, and decided to part ways in 2002 after 16 years of togetherness. Years later, Aamir Khan married Kiran Rao in 2005. The couple had met on the sets of Lagaan. For the unversed, Kiran had started her career as an assistant director for the film Lagaan, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. After 15 years of togetherness, Kiran and Aamir announced divorce. “In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared a lifetime of experiences, joy and laughter, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect and love. Now we would like to begin a new chapter in our lives — no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other,” they mentioned in a joint statement.

Despite their separations, Aamir Khan shares a cordial bond with both his wives who were recently seen at the screening of son Junaid Khan’s Loveyapa.

Aamir was also joined by Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, the first meeting in over a year for Loveyapa screening. In the videos that have gone viral, Aamir was seen welcoming SRK, and sharing a warm hug with him. Before SRK, Salman too had attended the screening and posed for paps. The three Khans have ruled Bollywood Box Office for close to 40 years now.
