Amid Barack Obama affair rumours, Jennifer Aniston’s picture with Michelle Obama goes viral; here’s how fans react
Friends star Jennifer Aniston, 55 has been in the news after her name was linked with former US President Barack Obama, 63. Well, In Touch Weekly magazine published a front-page story claiming to reveal the truth about Jen & Barack. The Hollywood actress has denied the speculation during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in October 2024. She said, ‘Of all the calls you get from your publicist where you’re just like ‘Oh, no, what’s it gonna be?’ or you get an email saying some cheesy tabloid is gonna make up a story—and then it’s that’.
Jennifer even added saying, ‘I was not mad at it’ and giggled before she clarified ‘It’s absolutely untrue’. Host Jimmy Kimmel asked if there was any truth to the rumours, Aniston replied saying, ‘I’ve met him [Obama] once. I know Michelle more than him.’ Kimmel even questioned saying, ‘Is there a truth about you and Michelle?’ and Aniston said with a smile ‘That is not true’.
Jennifer revealed that she met Barack Obama in 2007 at a Hollywood gala organized by Steven Spielberg and his DreamWorks co-founders. Well, pictures from the event went viral on social media and showcased Aniston posing with Michelle Obama. In the picture, Aniston had her arm around Michelle Obama’s waist. Several A-listers, including Morgan Freeman was spotted in the background of the picture.

Barack and Michelle Obama celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary in October last year. The two spoke about the highs and lows in their marriage. They shared a heartfelt photo of themselves hugging at a museum in New York and Barack wrote, ‘I couldn’t have asked for a better partner and friend to go through life with’. While, Michelle said, ’32 action-packed years with my honey! Thank you for always having my back’.
Michelle and Barack are head over heels in love and fans love their inseparable chemistry. Well, Michelle has previously spoken about challenges in their relationship. In 2022 she said, ‘People think I’m being catty – it’s like, there were ten years where I couldn’t stand my husband’ referring to the years she raised their daughters, Malia and Sasha.
