In the video, Jaya Bachchan said that Aishwarya is not her daughter. Well, the video is spreading like wildfire and netizens are quite worried about the same.
In an interview with NDTV, Jaya Bachchan spoke about the difference between a daughter and a daughter-in-law. She also further added saying, ‘There is a difference between a daughter and a daughter-in-law, you know. I mean, I don’t know why, but you don’t feel the need to respect your parents the same way. As a daughter, you take your parents for granted. With your in-laws, you can’t do that. And later on, things changed – because today, I feel more like a Bachchan than a Bhaduri’.

In the same interview, Jaya Bachchan spoke her heart out about her parenting style and revealed that she has been a strict mother to her children, Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan. On asked if she adopts the same approach as Aishwarya and Jaya Bachchan said, ‘Strict? She’s not my daughter! She’s my daughter-in-law. Why should I be strict with her? I’m sure her mother has done that for her’.
Talking about the ongoing divorce rumours between Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan started doing rounds when the two arrived separately at Anant Ambani’s wedding with Radhika Merchant. Some speculate that Jaya Bachchan’s attitude towards the couple created a rift between the two. Reddit users speculate that Abhishek allegedly cheated on Aishwarya with his Dasvi co-star Nimrat Kaur.
