During an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Waheeda Rehman revealed that she once slapped Amitabh Bachchan badly. She said that they were doing a scene and she told Big B she would slap him but it was just a joke. She did not wanted to slap him in real for that scene.

However, when that scene happened, she slapped him badly. Talking about her real life, she is married to Shashi Rekhi and they have two children. However, in 2000, Shashi Rekhi passed away.
