Kapil Sharma introduces Alia Bhatt to a woman who ‘dated’ Ranbir Kapoor before her, check out her reaction
The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 Episode 1 promo is now out. The first episode features Jigra team – Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, and Vedang Raina as the celebrity guests. Kapil Sharma is back with his gang of comedians—Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, and Kiku Sharda—and permanent guest Archana Puran Singh. So what fun can we expect from the new episode? As shown in The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 episode 1 promo, Kapil Sharma asks Karan Johar what he sees in Alia Bhatt—friend, daughter, or aunt. To this, Karan responds, saying that the actress is his first daughter and the duo share a warm hug. Karan complains to Kapil about how he has helped people find love, but he’s still single. To this, Sharma cheekily responds, ‘Halwai khud apni mithaai nahi khaata (a confectioner doesn’t eat the sweets he makes),” leaving everyone in splits.
In the promo, we see Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda dressed up as Alia’s characters from Gully Boy and Gangubai Kathiawadi. She even dances with them and does the famous Shah Rukh Khan pose with Sunil Grover. Alia, Karan, and Vedang also indulge in a fun game, and we can’t wait to see the entire segment as it looks crazy AF! The Dear Zindagi actress also talks about KJo having a sixth sense, hinting at how he figured out what was going on between her and Ranbir Kapoor, when they became ‘friends’.
Further in this entertainment news, the most hilarious part comes at the end of the promo. Kapil Sharma tells Alia Bhatt that before her, Ranbir dated someone else and they have invited her on the show. The Highway actress is curious to know who the girl is and then comes Sunil Grover, dressed as a woman, wearing a saree Alia wore in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Seeing Sunil, Alia cannot stop laughing. If you want to get the reference, you need to watch the first season’s first episode.

The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 Episode 1 will release on Netflix on September 21, 2024, at 8 pm. A new episode will release every Saturday at the same time.
