Did Amitabh Bachchan get jealous when Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker said ‘when it comes to love, there’s Shah Rukh Khan’
Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) is one of the most beloved game shows on Indian television. Known for his warm and engaging hosting style, Bachchan connects with both everyday contestants and celebrity guests, making each episode a memorable experience. Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 premiered on TV on August 12 and every episode has given the audience something to discuss.
On September 5, 2024, KBC 16 featured an exciting episode with Olympic shooting star Manu Bhaker, who recently won two medals at the Paris Olympics. The show captivated viewers with Manu’s charm and stories, making it a topic of much discussion. During the episode, Amitabh Bachchan and Bhaker had a delightful exchange about Bollywood. When the title track from Dil Toh Pagal Hai played, Big B asked Manu which actor was in the film. Manu and fellow guest Aman Sehrawat quickly answered Shah Rukh Khan. Bhaker even said, “When it comes to love and romance, it has to be Shah Rukh Khan,” and their answer was correct.
As reported by several entertainment news websites, Manu Bhaker’s excitement about Shah Rukh Khan was evident, and Bachchan jokingly reminded her, “Devi ji, I too have worked in many love films…”. To this, the Olympic medalist responded with a candid confession, saying, “Sir, I have seen very few of your films. To be honest, I haven’t seen many films at all. I don’t get the time.”
