Now, she is all set to make her web series debut with Call Me Bae, which is releasing this year. The trailer for the series has received some interesting reactions. In an interview, Ananya Panday shared how her B-town besties, Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor, reacted to the trailer. The Gehraiyaan actress revealed, “Ya, they loved it. They can’t wait to watch it.” Further, Panday also talked about the bond she shares with Suhana and Shanaya, saying that they’ve been close friends even before they were born, so there’s no competition between them. While talking to entertainment news portal Pinkvilla, Ananya Panday shared, “We have been friends since when I used to literally sleep on Shanaya’s mom’s baby bump when Shanaya was in her tummy. So, we were friends before we were born also, practically. So, there’s no competition. It’s like family. We don’t talk about the industry as much as people think we talk about it. We talk about every other thing. We were really into the Olympics; now we’re very into Uorfi’s show, very obsessed with that show. Speaking of Call Me Bae, it was directed by Collin D’Cunha and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment. Along with Ananya, the series also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Vihaan Samat, Varun Sood, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime on September 6, 2024. Panday will be next seen in the film CTRL with Vihaan Samat. The movie is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, and it will stream on Netflix this year. The actress is also a part of Shankara, in which she will feature alongside Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan.
